Amazon Japan plans to allow customers to return FBA or Amazon Retail items purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2021 beyond the standard return window of 30 days and until January 31, 2022. The purpose of this program is to help you grow medium to long term business through a better shopping experience to customers and their increased visits to Amazon.

Amazon Japan will make required adjustments, so you don’t need to do anything on your side. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please note that Amazon in other countries have experienced no or little increase or delays in returns. Nonetheless we will waive Refund Administration Fees for items returned beyond 30 days during the Return Window Extension in order to address your concerns.

For MFN items that you ship yourself, you can extend the return period at your discretion.

Items eligible for extended return period:
Amazon Retail or FBA items that are returnable during the standard 30-day return window as per “About Our Returns Policies”.

Extended return period includes:
Eligible items purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2021 can be returned until January 31, 2022. Except for the return period, there are no changes in other return policies such as refund amount as per opened or used status.
