The Amazon Seller Newsletter is designed to share what we've been working on to help you and your business on the worldwide Amazon Marketplace.

Learn to recognize phishing and keep your account safe

Phishing is when someone attempts to get your confidential information—such as your user account or password—in order to gain fraudulent access to your accounts. Amazon takes spoofing and phishing attacks very seriously, and we will never ask you to verify sensitive information via email. You should only submit this kind of data by going to Seller Central instead of clicking links.

When you set up Two-Step Verification, your account is protected, even if you’re ever a victim of a phishing scheme. If you ever doubt the authenticity of an email, forward it to Amazon at stop-spoofing@amazon.com

Link your Seller Central accounts and manage them with a Single Sign-on

When you sell in more than one Amazon region, linking your accounts is the foundation to selling across Amazon’s North American, European, and Japanese marketplaces. It allows us to show you sales, orders, and buyer messages from all of your global marketplaces in one place, so you can better manage your business. And now, when you link your accounts, you’ll be able to use Single Sign-on. This new feature allows you to sign in to any Seller Central account using any set of account credentials and navigate among all of your marketplaces from a single page, including across regions.

Showcase your brand with Amazon Stores

Vividly represent your brand with an Amazon Store, free to registered brand owners. Even if you don’t have experience building websites, you can post product videos and create a multipage experience that shows off your brand where shoppers can browse your portfolio and find best-selling items and recommendations. You can even share and promote your Store with customers outside Amazon using your own URL (Example: amazon .com/your-brand).

Amazon completes first commercial drone delivery demonstration in the U.S.

This March, Amazon Prime Air completed its first public drone delivery demonstration in the U.S. The delivery came after the start of our ongoing private trials in the United Kingdom, where we’re using small drones to deliver packages to customers in 30 minutes or less. Through this private trial, we’re gathering data to continue improving the safety and reliability of our systems. We’re designing our vehicles to fly between 200 and 400 feet above ground level. They’ll also have state-of-the-art sense-and-avoid technology, which will allow them to detect and then avoid objects both on the ground and in the air.

If you have leftover inventory from Prime day, there are a number of methods to reduce storage fees, recover costs, and make room for new products for next big sale days (like back-to-school and Black Friday).

In Seller Central, visit the Manage Excess Inventory to see recommendations to help sell your slow-moving inventory.
