You will be enrolled in EPR Pay on Behalf in Spain for packaged goods sales in 2023, unless you prove compliance by Dec 31, 2023

Dear Seller,

In Spain, Amazon is obliged to check the compliance of packaged goods with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements if they are offered for sale by sellers not established in Spain. Read more in the EPR Spain Help Page.

Submit your proof of compliance for packaged goods to Amazon by December 31, 2023, otherwise you’ll be automatically enrolled in our Pay on Behalf service for your packaged goods sales in 2023. The service will allow you to continue selling on Amazon.es, in accordance with the terms and conditions specified on the EPR Requirements Policy for Third-Party Sellers in Spain page (only available on sellercentral.amazon.es).

If you have already submitted your proof of compliance and your status is valid on the Compliance Portal, you will not be auto enrolled in our Pay on Behalf service. It can take us up to five working days to validate your registration number, so we recommend that you submit your number as soon as you have it.

How much does the service cost?

Amazon will charge your seller account with a service fee and the eco-contributions, that we will pay on your behalf for your non-compliant sales on Amazon.es. The Pay on Behalf annual service fee is €24.99 + 3% of the eco-contributions paid on your behalf in each year for your packaged goods sales on Amazon.es. It does not include VAT, if applicable. If you do not want to use Pay on Behalf, what should you do?

• Submit valid packaging registration number here before December 31, 2023. Learn more on Pay on Behalf help page.

• Don’t have a valid packaging registration number? EPR Services on Amazon is a solution designed by Amazon to obtain a UIN and pay eco-contribution fees to PROs with the help of trusted service providers.
