Compliance requirements can be complex, so to better support you, we have gathered relevant information that may require your attention.

Am I impacted? If you have inventory stored in Belgium, OR if you conduct B2C sales to Belgium and your total EU sales exceed 10,000€ per year OR you are a non-EU seller conducting sales to Belgium. Other criteria might apply.

Consequences of non-compliance: Account deactivation in Belgium store and impossibility to sell to customer in Belgium.

Provide your Belgian VAT number

OR EU VAT registration number accompanied by evidence of your Union-Stop Shop (OSS) preference.

Am I impacted? If you sell products in the EU that are subject to product compliance display requirements.

Consequences of non-compliance: Listing deactivation if we become aware of non-compliance.

Responsible Person requirements
EU

There are two regulations that may require you to provide Responsible Person information to Amazon:

• Market Surveillance Regulation

In effect since Jul 16, 2021

Am I impacted? If you sell CE-marked products in the EU.

• General Product Safety Regulation

Deadline: Dec 13, 2024

Am I impacted? If you sell products in the EU (excluding food and some other specific products).

Consequences of non-compliance: Listing deactivation, if we become aware of non-compliance.

KIND REMINDER

DAC7¹
EU

Am I impacted? If your primary address is in the EU, and you generate more than €2,000 in sales or complete 30 or more transactions within a calendar year. If you are impacted, you will receive a performance notification in your Seller Central account and in your mailbox.

Germany

Am I impacted? If you sell packaged goods in Germany.

Consequences of non-compliance: Listing deactivation.

Submit your LUCID number

And report your packaging volumes to the German packaging authority (ZSVR), as required by the law.

Plastic Packaging Tax
UK

Am I impacted? If you manufacture or import 10 tons or more of finished plastic packaging into the UK.

Consequences of non-compliance: Account suspension in UK store if notified by HMRC¹.

Consequences of non-compliance: Auto-enrollment in Amazon's 'Pay on Behalf' service so you can continue selling on Amazon.fr. Amazon is now recovering the eco-contribution paid on behalf of non-compliant sellers for 2022 sales.

Energy Efficiency Labeling
EU

Am I impacted? If you sell energy-labeled products across the EU.

Consequences of non-compliance: You must be compliant with the EU energy efficiency labeling regulations if you offer energy-labeled products for sale in the EU. Any listings found to be non-compliant may be removed from sale on Amazon's EU websites.
